The School Day

The school opening times have changed for the start of the new Autumn Term, from 1st September 2020. This is to accommodate both the new age-range change and the new procedures put in place during the Covid-19 recovery period.

Please note that year groups have staggered finishing times.

Times for each year group are listed below. Further details can be found in our Autumn Term 2020 Booklet.

Parents/carers should call main reception on 01530 834368 to notify us if their child is going to be absent or late.
Telephone lines are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs, and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays.

Students are encouraged to be responsible for their own time-keeping and there are numerous clocks around the school to aid them with this.

To aid social distancing, we are currently operating a pre-order catering service. Click here for more information.

All food will have to be pre-ordered and will be delivered to students’ designated areas by the Catering Team. We are running a reduced menu but there will be snack options at breaktime and hot and cold food at lunchtimes.

Ordering of food/meals must be completed at least the day before – we will not be able to facilitate any orders for food on the day that it is required.

We would ask, where possible, that students order for the whole week by the Friday of the week before. Payment will only be processed on a day by day basis to ensure that there are no charges should your child be absent.

Students in receipt of free school meals will also need to complete the pre-order form.
