GCSE & A-Level Results 2021

A-Level & GCSE Results - 2021

In what has been an extremely challenging year for students and staff, we are absolutely delighted with the results our students have achieved.

This year, following the cancellation of exams, our students were assessed against a high standard under controlled conditions, with careful marking and moderation. Students getting their grades today can therefore be completely confident that they have reached high standards and should feel very proud.

Our students have performed well across the broad range of qualifications offered at The Castle Rock School. Alongside some exceptional performance in A levels and GCSEs, students have also excelled in a range of vocational and technical qualifications.

Amongst our many high performers in a range of A level/ L3 qualifications include:

Our A level students will be studying at a range of top universities, including Cambridge, Exeter, Durham and Lancaster. We are equally proud of our students who have overcome considerable adversity and achieved great grades which will be their passport to higher education and employment. Virtually all our students have secured places at their universities of choice.

The Sixth Form, part of the Apollo Partnership Trust, will be taking students from the Newbridge School next year when the first group of students finish their GCSE year there. In addition, many students have had great success in a range of GCSE/ L2 qualifications. These include:

Many of our GCSE students are planning to pursue their education in the Apollo Sixth Form. We look forward to welcoming them at the start of the new term. We wish all of the students that are leaving us to pursue other destinations, including college courses and apprenticeships, the very best of luck for the future.
